Rural Metro Fire is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter EMTs to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to fires, rescuing individuals, and providing medical aid in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to fires and emergencies in a timely and safe manner
  • Participate in control of fires through hose and nozzle work, use of hand tools, or a combination of these methods
  • Administer first aid to injured parties at their appropriate level of training
  • Safely operate Company vehicles and equipment as directed
  • Assist in the maintenance of fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
  • Illinois OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Illinois OSFM Firefighter II with Hazmat Ops or Military Fire Fighter Equivalent
  • Illinois EMT-B or higher EMS certification
  • CPR/AED credentials
