Job Summary

The City of Forest Park is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care, and fighting fires. Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
  • Fight fires and perform rescue operations
  • Operate emergency vehicles and equipment
  • Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and vehicles
  • Participate in training and drills to maintain skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EMT certification
  • Firefighter certification
  • Paramedic certification
  • Valid driver's license
Working Conditions

Work may be performed in a variety of environments, including emergency scenes, fire stations, and administrative offices. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift heavy equipment and wear protective gear.
