Adjunct Faculty, Fire Science Instructor

We are seeking an experienced Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Fire Science Department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fire science and the ability to teach a variety of courses.
Key Responsibilities- Teach fire science courses to students at the certificate and associate degree levels.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the fire service industry.
- Assist in the development of the semester schedules and monitoring and reporting grades.
- Ensure class safety and proper use and storage of department equipment.
- Participate in special projects that provide job shadowing opportunities, simulations, and active learning environment training for students.
- Certifications in Hazmat, Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and five years of experience as a full-time firefighter or a combination of volunteer and paid experience.
- Two years of experience teaching or training.
- Fire Instructor I certification.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
