Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Grinder III to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC or manual grinders to perform a series of grinding operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC or manual grinders to perform grinding operations such as O/D, I/D, boring, and facing on components.
  • Follow quality and safety rules to ensure a clean and orderly work area.
  • Work from blueprints, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component/manufacturing specifications.
  • Enter data into the ERP system and efficiently set up, adjust, and operate 2 different grinding machines within the department.
  • Verify conformance of machined work-pieces to specifications using gauges and related measuring devices.
  • Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure that company quality and quantity standards are maintained.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in grinding machine operation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in machine setup and operation.
  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Previous experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an entire shift.
