Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience

BridgePoint Associates is seeking a dedicated Senior Philanthropy Officer to enhance our fundraising efforts. This pivotal role will oversee the comprehensive fundraising process for significant contributions of $10,000 and above, primarily from individual donors, along with some family foundations. The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of around 125 major donors and prospects, supported by a team specializing in prospect research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the complete fundraising lifecycle for a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects with the capacity to contribute $10,000 or more.
  • Collaborate with the prospect development team to identify and engage new major gift prospects.
  • Assist in formulating, managing, and implementing development strategies, campaigns, initiatives, and best practices.
  • Work alongside grants team members to develop major gift proposals and assist with foundation grant proposals.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive fundraising reports.
  • Partner with the marketing department to design impactful fundraising materials.
  • Engage in regional travel to connect with donors and prospects.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant fundraising experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Proven success in securing five-figure gifts; experience with six-figure gifts is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software.
