The Emerson Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical, high level Telemetry, Stroke Department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to patients served in the department. You will work closely with nursing management to ensure that care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies, and professional organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Medical, high level Telemetry, Stroke Department.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a professional accredited nursing school.
  • Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BLS healthcare provider certification.
  • Oncology certification preferred.
