Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Uline. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our multi-disciplinary teams, including maintenance, security, grounds, and custodial workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance, security, and grounds teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and assign duties to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, sites, and equipment to identify areas for improvement and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

  • Collaborate with vendors and oversee the execution of contracted services to ensure high-quality results.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management review, including work orders, staffing reports, and audits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on management or leadership experience in high-volume distribution centers.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), landscaping, HVAC, and electrical systems.

  • Ability to travel for extended periods for initial training at Uline's other North American locations.
