Role Overview

As a key member of the TEPHRA team, this HR Generalist role is responsible for collaborating with business leaders to drive effective business priorities and organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Talent Management: Implement and promote key talent management initiatives, including performance management, competency development, rewards and recognition, succession planning, coaching and mentoring, and more.
  • HR Engagements: Facilitate HR engagements based on actionable insights to promote organizational belonging and sense of pride.
  • Organizational Development: Manage seamless organizational development to ensure fair administration of TEPHRA policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote and drive engagement of activities within project teams for sustained employee morale.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Facilitate and drive Corporate Social Responsibility events for project team initiatives and local communities.
  • Business Meetings: Participate in business meetings, client audits, and project start-up meetings.
  • Employee Retention: Deploy and implement interventions to increase employee retention.
  • Compliance: Comply with all internal and external HR processes and compliance requirements.
  • Employee Concerns: Redress and resolve employee concerns and grievances as a true custodian.
  • Statutory Employment Requirements: Manage all statutory employment requirements, as advised by legal counsels, compliance officers, and liaisons with local government authorities.
  • Talent Acquisition: Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives, including Campus Recruitment.
  • Training & Development: Support Training & Development, Onboarding, and other HR function events within the region.
Requirements
  • Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business with 4-7 years HR Generalist experience or Master's Degree in HR or Related field with 2-3 years HR Generalist experience.
  • Skills & Capabilities: PHR/SPHR certification preferred, excellent communication skills, successful track record in managing dynamic employee relations cases, experience in leadership roles, expertise in data analysis, action planning, and execution skills, intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite, and strong interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a globally diverse work environment. This role requires 25% - 50% travel to local client sites and the willingness to relocate as business requires.
