Your Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install piping, ductwork, and structural elements within an active industrial manufacturing environment.
- Move, rig, assemble, and install various types and sizes of machinery and equipment.
- Fit, cut, bend, grind, thread, and torch metals and other materials according to engineered specifications and drawings.
- Assemble piping, ductwork, pipe supports, machinery, and structural components in both fabrication shops and plant locations.
- Transport, rig, and hoist materials and equipment, while operating heavy industrial trucks, hoists, and cranes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent based on demonstrated performance.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial construction or fabrication.
- Ability to demonstrate fundamental mechanical skills in pipefitting and fabrication, along with the capability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Must be capable of qualifying for respirator use.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified welder.
- Proficient in measuring field dimensions and creating accurate shop fabrication sketches and isometrics.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and fitting both large and small bore piping.
- Experienced in measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling tubing.
- Competent in measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling structural components and supports.
- Knowledgeable in concrete forms, rebar fabrication, and concrete finishing.
- Familiar with masonry skills in brick and block.
- Experienced in sheet metal fabrication.
- Background in structural steel erection.
- Proficient in complex rigging and equipment alignment.
- Experienced in materials identification, retrieval, and handling.
