Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer/Integrator to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). As a trusted systems integrator for more than 50 years, GDIT provides information technology (IT), cybersecurity, systems engineering, software development, training solutions, and professional services to customers in the Navy and the broader Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with the government sponsor to take direction on products requiring development and keeps the government POC informed of progress and TDP delivery dates
  • Organize design team resources to ensure effective production of goods and/or services
  • Provide work direction, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
  • Prepare reports and records for the government as required
  • Manage the development of TDPs
  • Integrate the products into a complete TDP
  • Interface with the government sponsor
  • Prepare reports that provide a status of TDP developments
  • Ensure all components of the TDP are being developed
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of experience as a Design Engineer/Integrator for large ships (or 15+ years of experience without a degree)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector
  • A US DoD Secret security clearance is required
  • US Citizenship is required
