  • Greet arriving patrons with a friendly demeanor and escort them to their seats with menus.
  • Manage reservations both over the phone and in person, offering accurate and helpful information.
  • Ensure tables are clean and properly set prior to guest seating, while maintaining an organized seating chart for staff rotations.
  • Keep the service podium tidy and well-organized, and manage inventory supplies effectively.
  • Begin the dining experience by serving beverages, bread, and butter, and replenish as needed.
  • Safely transport all used tableware from the dining area to the dishwashing station for cleaning.
  • Conduct general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as directed by management to comply with health regulations.
  • Fold napkins for all meal periods to ensure an adequate supply is available.
  • Stock and maintain service stations with necessary supplies before, during, and after shifts.
  • Assist servers in delivering orders and clearing tables as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested, such as addressing spills or fulfilling special guest requests to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols.
  • Be knowledgeable about fire prevention and emergency procedures relevant to the department.
  • Utilize protective equipment as required.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to a supervisor or manager.
  • Notify management of accidents, injuries, near-misses, or property damage.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following all safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance as outlined in the team member handbook.
  • Assist fellow restaurant staff when necessary. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Familiarity with state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Possession of a current Food Handler Card or in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Proficiency in English sufficient to understand customer inquiries and communicate simple instructions.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions for safe use of products and processes. Physical Requirements
  • Capability to transport up to 30 lbs. in a busy environment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to thirty pounds.
  • Skill in moving or pushing goods on a hand cart or truck.
  • Continuous standing and walking are required.
