Job Title: Controls Technician

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team at Spark Talent Inc. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all aspects of plant automation, including PLC, PanelView, Robots, and Servo drive controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and upgrade PLC, PanelView, Robots, and Servo drive controls, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain all required documentation on equipment, including PLC, PanelView, Robots, and Servo drives.
  • Assist the Maintenance team with the repair of other production equipment and facility.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to troubleshoot machinery and equipment, identify sources of downtime, and implement corrective measures.
  • Provide training and support to employees on PLC and electronics.
  • Interact with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering department personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in automotive.
  • Experience with PLC's and troubleshooting & diagnostics (Allen Bradley).
  • Electronics/electrical troubleshooting abilities required.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree is a plus.
  • Advanced AutoCAD & Solid Works CAD software experience is a plus.
