This role is focused on the design, coding, and troubleshooting of PLC systems and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for both individual assembly units and comprehensive multi-station systems. Collaboration with project managers, mechanical engineers, and production teams throughout the project lifecycle is essential. The engineer will oversee the functionality of the systems post-assembly, playing a crucial role in the operational efficiency of the machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing software for multi-station assembly and testing setups
- Programming PLCs and HMIs
- Configuring SCADA systems
- Understanding and applying Motion Control principles
- Utilizing Panel View Plus and Panel Builder 32
- Implementing networking solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of Mechatronic systems and their components
- Strong mechanical skills and a dedicated work ethic
- Experience with Allen Bradley RS Logic 5000
- Preferred background in powertrain systems
- Familiarity with Ethernet IP technology
- Knowledge of Step and State Logic
- Experience in programming Fanuc and ABB robots
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
