About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Counselor to join our team at Advantage xPO. As a Crisis Counselor, you will provide mental health and crisis intervention supports to individuals, working collaboratively to manage and de-escalate crises in the least invasive manner possible to ensure safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health and crisis intervention supports to individuals
  • Collaborate with individuals to develop and implement crisis safety plans
  • Provide mental health referrals and linkages as appropriate
  • Offer and provide follow-up services to individuals presenting with crises
  • Complete required documentation within established timeframes
  • Utilize Electronic Client Record, call management software, and chat/text management software
Requirements

Candidates for consideration require a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and must have two years of experience working with chronically mentally ill populations. A current driving license and vehicle are also required.
