Job Title: Director of Finance

PENCIL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of PENCIL's financial operations, including accounting, human resources, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial statements to the Board of Directors, including analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead the annual budget process and ensure fiscal management throughout the year.
  • Oversee the development of new lines of business and ensure their operational effectiveness.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the President/CEO and other senior leaders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years' experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
