We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team at Harborview Medical Center. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install, modify, and troubleshoot control systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as locking systems.
- Maintain positive and negative differential pressures within operating rooms, isolation rooms, and other sensitive areas.
- Repair and maintain door locks, closers, panic hardware, and other locking devices.
- Work with electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional service and support to our patients and staff.
- Completion of a four-year approved institution course as a Control Technician Trainee, or four years of applicable experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
