About This Role

The Procurement Director will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with Waystar's goals. This role will focus on optimizing supplier relationships, managing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a procurement strategy that supports Waystar's business objectives

Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts that ensure favorable terms and compliance with industry standards

Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement corrective actions as necessary

Identify cost-saving initiatives and implement best practices in procurement processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the technology sector

Proven track record of developing and executing successful procurement strategies

Expertise in negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
