Job Description:

As a Sales Manager at Colonial Williamsburg Company, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales and account management. Your primary goal will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while maintaining and expanding existing relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact meeting planners and decision-makers to promote our hotel's services and amenities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account management plans to target key accounts and markets.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Secure annual and multi-year contracts with clients.
  • Prepare and execute creative sales proposals and contracts to ensure financial success and profitability.
  • Understand the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand.
  • Closely monitor market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time to attend tradeshows, visit clients, and promote our hotel's services.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • College degree or 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of sales success and revenue growth.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior conference sales experience at a four-star or four-diamond hotel/resort.
  • Experience in an assigned geographic location or vertical market.
