Opportunity Overview:

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is in search of an Adult Psychiatrist for a role focused on outpatient services. The outpatient clinic provides comprehensive mental health care to individuals of all ages, including specialized programs for first-episode psychosis, dialectical behavior therapy, and dedicated services for diverse populations such as Hispanic communities and LGBTQI+ individuals.

In collaboration with the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, our department supports both outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for children and adults, alongside 89 inpatient beds, ECT, and other neuromodulation services, as well as an Advancement In Recovery program for addiction treatment.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry, with certification to be obtained within 3 years of hire.
  • Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and DEA certification.
  • Strong clinical and teaching skills, with potential for academic and research contributions.
