Position Overview:

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist for a position focused on outpatient services. This role encompasses a wide range of outpatient care for various age groups, including specialized services for individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis, dialectical behavioral therapy, and dedicated clinics for diverse populations.

The department, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, provides comprehensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for both children and adults, alongside inpatient care and neuromodulation services.

Qualifications Required:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry, with certification expected within three years of hire.
  • Eligibility for a Pennsylvania medical license and DEA certification.
  • Strong clinical and teaching skills, with a potential for scholarly contributions.
