POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Center Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities within the Operations Center. This includes managing procurement of supplies, organization, inventory control, and property asset management, as well as overseeing warehousing, shipping, delivery, quality assurance, and facilities management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all operational activities and team members within a large Distribution Center.
  • Provide constructive feedback to frontline management, fostering performance improvement and coaching.
  • Accountable for meeting financial targets related to departmental operating expenses.
  • Review and approve departmental expenses and make capital recommendations.
  • Ensure operational performance aligns with Key Performance Indicators in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
  • Manage customer service operations, addressing service quality issues and coordinating with account management.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new customers to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee talent management, including succession planning and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and act as the designated representative for the department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in profit and loss management.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, capable of managing complex initiatives.
  • Proven analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to lead change and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive customer service orientation.
  • Capable of working independently and completing assignments within established guidelines.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with a focus on planning and team motivation.
  • Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
  • Maintain regular attendance consistent with company standards.
