Position Summary
The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing hourly staff, ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining full staffing levels, and fostering employee development. Through site evaluations and effective communication, this role guarantees customer satisfaction at every level.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard personnel to ensure accounts are adequately staffed in line with contract requirements.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members while monitoring work for quality and completion.
- Establish work procedures and create schedules, ensuring adherence to the designated labor budget.
- Conduct orientations, safety training, and job-specific training to equip hourly employees for efficient and safe task execution.
- Prepare and review essential documentation such as time sheets, incident reports, onboarding paperwork, training records, work orders, and supply requisitions.
- Facilitate open communication by addressing employee relations issues and providing coaching to support their success.
- Build strong relationships with clients through regular site visits to ensure the highest service quality.
- Address issues and complaints promptly to uphold superior customer satisfaction.
- Document client interactions and concerns consistently, assisting with follow-up to ensure resolution.
- Monitor assigned accounts for potential work order opportunities and additional services that can be incorporated into contracts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of two to three years of management experience is required, along with several years of experience in the janitorial industry. The ideal candidate must possess strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to dynamic environments. A customer service-oriented mindset and effective training skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications is required.
