Clinical Assistant Professor Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant Professor to join our Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education.
About the DepartmentThe Department of Kinesiology is a dynamic and growing unit within the College of Education, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education. Our faculty members are nationally and internationally recognized for their scholarly accomplishments, teaching excellence, and service to their professional disciplines.
About the CollegeThe Mary Frances Early College of Education is a comprehensive college with disciplines focused on teacher preparation, counseling and human development, communication sciences, human movement sciences, career development, student affairs, and educational administration and policy. We place significant emphasis on graduate education and have a long and distinguished history as a leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education
- Develop and implement curriculum in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education
- Advise and mentor students in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education
- Participate in departmental and college service activities
A Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have a strong background in athletic training, exercise science, and health and physical education, as well as experience in teaching and research.
