Job Title: Quality Control Manager

CTR Group is seeking a highly experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team in the Washington, DC area. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of U.S. Government contract requirements for quality control and quality assurance in design and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze contract requirements, design drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, ensuring timely submittals to the government and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Execute quality control programs on-site, following specified quality procedures and conducting three-phase inspections.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control documentation and records, adhering to government and project team security protocols.
  • Coordinate with clients, government representatives, and project management teams to ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are met.
  • Formulate and maintain quality control standards and objectives, ensuring ongoing quality improvement.
  • Manage and review submittals and submittal registers, checking material, design, and coordination drawings.
  • May be required to lead a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in implementing construction quality control programs for similar projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quality Control, or equivalent field experience.
  • Experience operating as Quality Control Manager on high-value projects over $25M.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and pass a public trust and security background investigation for site access.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, including OSHA 30 certification.
  • Previous experience in US Government projects and completion of USACE course in Construction Quality Management for Contractors are highly desirable.
