Product Lifecycle Management Expert

As a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expert at Blue Origin, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Windchill PLM system. In this role, you will administer, configure, and maintain the system to ensure optimal performance and uptime, perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed, and configure and customize Windchill according to business requirements.

You will also manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings, provide technical support and training to end-users, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  • Experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles.
  • Experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.

Salary Range: $104,490 - $146,286

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
