Position Summary:

The Community Director (Exempt) is responsible for the comprehensive management of a significant residential property or multiple smaller properties, collectively exceeding 300 units and supervising a team of more than 5 full-time employees. This role is crucial in enhancing the property's value and ensuring alignment with the Client's operational and financial objectives.

Compensation:

Annual Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Engagement:
    Ensure the execution of the Owner's vision in daily operations to meet client expectations.
  2. Effective Communication:
    Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders, including residents, vendors, and clients.
  3. Team Leadership:
    Recruit, train, and evaluate site team members, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
  4. Occupancy Management:
    Maintain targeted occupancy levels, oversee leasing processes, and implement marketing strategies.
  5. Financial Oversight:
    Maximize revenue through effective lease management and timely rent collections, while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  7. Risk Management:
    Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  8. Facility Oversight:
    Monitor maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  9. Community Standards:
    Enforce community rules and promote a professional image at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in affordable housing programs.
  • Relevant accreditation in affordable housing management.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role within residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with property management software.
