- Providing information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Maintaining accurate records and performing administrative tasks as needed.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure a positive guest experience.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:
- Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to brand standards.
- Ensure regular attendance and adapt to varying schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality policies, standards, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions, as well as in-house groups and restricted dates.
- Process room reservations, handle guest requests, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in emergency procedures and maintain a working knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
To be successful as a Front Desk Agent, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with college coursework in a related field preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or related field, with a positive and upbeat personality.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A basic understanding of financial information and data, with the ability to perform numerical operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel-specific software.
- A willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
