About the Role

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' heavy duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy duty trucks and trailers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Install new parts, such as cross members, panels, and door equipment
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation
  • Work well with others and follow instructions from supervisors
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in the heavy duty truck and trailer industry
  • Valid Class C driver's license required
  • Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required
  • Commercial TIA certification required after 6 months of employment
  • DOT Medical Certification required
  • Medium/Heavy Truck ASE certifications preferred
