Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel - AWS Sales and Marketing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Associate Corporate Counsel to join our Sales and Marketing legal team. As a trusted advisor to our business leadership, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our cloud computing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and draft strategic agreements with customers and partners.
  • Advise on complex cloud technology transactions and develop innovative solutions to support our business.
  • Support the pricing and operations teams in managing legal issues and risks associated with our cloud services.
  • Participate in other AWS legal projects, including managing legal issues in existing commercial relationships and advising on privacy matters.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law or technology law.
  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
  • Experience in private practice or in-house experience at a technology company or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services, or equivalent.
