We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Activities Director to join our team at Maxwell Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing activities for residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the needs and interests of residents.
  • Supervise and train Life Enrichment Leaders to ensure high-quality programming.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless integration of activities into resident care plans.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with activity programming.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations to enhance programming options.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • CPR and AED certification required.
  • Activities certification desired.
  • Four-year college or university degree in Recreation Therapy or similar field desired.
  • Two years' experience with geriatrics required.
  • Two years' experience in a similar activities position required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must conduct all business with a professional manner and with a high level of confidentiality.
