Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer - Implementation to perform installation oversight, configuration, testing, monitoring, and servicing of network equipment for projects supporting the Department of Defense networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform customer coordination and execution of all reporting functions for new network equipment and service activations.
Configure and maintain DISA's out-of-band management network.
Upgrade software on network devices.
Create/update project planning documentation to support IP addressing schemes and port assignments.
Engage with project managers and stakeholders to resolve issues and facilitate approvals.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of network hardware, engineering, architecture, and data and voice network design.
Experience with network services and appliances, and network systems analysis.
Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience at DISA, or knowledge of DISA systems and processes.
Experience with order processing and providing customer outreach.
Education and Experience:
BS degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
Pay Range:
$87, $157,450.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
