Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Assistant to join our team at Bay Medical Management LLC. This is a per-diem float position consisting of variable days and hours, with the possibility of working cross campuses at our Walnut Creek and Concord, CA imaging sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview and verbally screen patients using safety equipment as designated by the department.
  • Thoroughly review paperwork and questionnaires and ensure consents are completed and signed.
  • Escort patients to and from dressing and examination rooms and assist transferring patients to the table if needed.
  • Assist radiologists and technologists during examinations by setting up coils, patient monitoring equipment, and other ancillary medical equipment as needed.
  • Maintain dressing and examination rooms by stocking supplies, removing linen, changing protective covers, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the department throughout each shift.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and six months related experience and/or training in a radiology setting preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred.
  • Basic computer/keyboard skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

Pay Range: $28.49-$36.45 hourly. Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
