Job Description:
- Perform radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of a Radiologist.
- Coordinate daily activities, including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
- Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Document patient history related to specific procedures on requisitions submitted by physicians.
- Confirm patient identification through verbal confirmation and proof of identity validation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
- Consult with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
- Select and operate equipment as required by individual procedures and demonstrate correct anatomical positioning skills.
- Maintain appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
- Requires physical effort in assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers, handling equipment, and monitoring supplies.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills for interaction with patients and hospital staff.
- Frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel for operating radiographic equipment.
- Use hands for power gripping, speed work, and precision during the manipulation of equipment.
- Vision and hearing are necessary for distances up to 10 feet.
- Adapt to various physical conditions, such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and being near moving equipment.
- Adapt to changes in temperature and humidity.
Education: Successful completion of a formal Radiology Technology Program in an AMA-approved facility required.
Language: English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Concord, NC. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of a Radiologist.
