Job Summary

Exceptional Healthcare Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join its team in Lubbock, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, point of care, and blood banking.
  • Operate automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis.
  • Manage daily workload to ensure timely completion of patient testing.
  • Review quality control results and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ASCP certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements and chemical and biological hazards.
  • Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards.
