Senior Research Coordinator

We are seeking a senior research coordinator with strong experience in qualitative research to support our research projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting qualitative interviews, assessing program implementation, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports for dissemination.

The Senior Research Coordinator responsibilities include research project management, qualitative data collection and analysis, and related initiatives. Develop and implement data collection strategies using surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other methods. Conduct interviews with leadership and staff of addictions treatment programs. Create coding schemes, code, and analyze qualitative data. Use computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software (i.e., Summarize research findings and assist in the preparation of reports and publications for internal and external distribution.

Support the operation and administration of qualitative research activities including, but not limited to, drafting and submitting IRB applications, coordinating meetings, scheduling interviews, and creating tracking databases. Conduct other research-related activities as required.

Qualifications include a Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related discipline. Minimum of four years of progressively responsible related experience coordinating clinical/research trials studies. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Strong understanding and knowledge base of coordination requirements associated with clinical/research trials.

Prior experience conducting research on substance use disorder treatment is highly desirable. Experience with program evaluation and implementation science is also highly desirable. 3-4 years of experience conducting qualitative interviews and analysis with a masters degree; 5-7 years of experience with a bachelor's degree. Proven experience in public health research, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in qualitative software (e.g., ti) and data management tools (e.g., Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

The salary range for the role is $67,771. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
