Position Overview:

The Manager, Global Account Reconciliations Quality Control is a pivotal role within the Global Finance Operations Record to Report team. This full-time position is designed for a meticulous and proactive individual who thrives at the intersection of finance, auditing, and the enhancement of account reconciliation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluation Strategy: Formulate comprehensive evaluation strategies and frameworks based on risk assessments and control objectives to ensure effective execution of the evaluation program.
  2. Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough risk analyses to identify and assess potential vulnerabilities within the organization's operations and systems.
  3. Evaluation Implementation: Execute evaluations, including process walkthroughs with business stakeholders, to understand control mechanisms, review documentation, and analyze data for compliance and effectiveness.
  4. Documentation of Findings: Record evaluation outcomes, highlighting deficiencies, weaknesses, and areas of non-compliance in detailed evaluation reports.
  5. Improvement Recommendations: Offer actionable recommendations for enhancing internal controls, processes, and procedures to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
  6. Communication & Follow-Up: Present audit findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and monitoring of corrective actions.
  7. Training & Development: Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide training programs on account reconciliations, providing guidance on best practices and standards.
  8. Knowledge Management: Establish and maintain a repository of best practices, templates, and tools to promote knowledge sharing across business units.
  9. Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate relationships with leaders across business units to enhance current account reconciliation processes and standards.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement within the Quality Assurance team, gathering feedback from stakeholders to implement effective changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or 5 years in private accounting/internal audit.
  • CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • International experience and familiarity with currency exchange preferred.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
