Job Description:

The Configuration Analyst will analyze proposed changes to product design to determine their impact on the overall product and system. This role will coordinate modification records for management control, establish change orders, and prepare documentation for company and subcontractor authorization. The analyst will also prepare reports on the effect of changes on the overall product and review released engineering change data to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze proposed changes to product design and determine their impact on the overall product and system
  • Coordinate modification records for management control
  • Establish change orders and prepare documentation for company and subcontractor authorization
  • Prepare reports on the effect of changes on the overall product
  • Review released engineering change data to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
  • Work closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and data owners to coordinate timely CDRL/SDRL submittals
  • Review enclosure data for compliance with data item description/contract requirements
  • Draft and process submittal letters through the signature cycle and post data to the CDRL/SDRL submittal website
  • Track CDRL/SDRL submittals requiring approval to closure
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation
  • 4 Year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with markings, formatting, and handling of documentation
  • Experience in reading engineering drawings and documentation
  • Proven ability in processing CDRLs/SDRLs in accordance with the Contract SOW, 1423s, and DD250s, and in accordance with the applicable Industry Standards
  • Ability to ensure that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)
Desired Skills:
  • Self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of creating status and tracking reports for management and customers
  • Experience with Product Data Management tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Programming experience with Access databases
Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level:

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
