About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control business as a Sr. Software Configuration Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our programs by providing expert configuration management and status accounting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configuration Status Accounting: Perform configuration status accounting using appropriate tools and inspections to verify all serialization and configuration requirements have been fulfilled.
  • Status Accounting Activities: Conduct status accounting activities to monitor the relationship between the engineering design of the product and the actual hardware or software during the manufacturing build process.
  • Serialization and Configuration Management: Ensure hardware is built to current engineering configuration, verify all serialization requirements have been fulfilled prior to shipment, and prepare serial/lot record sheets and input into the central database.
  • Engineering Change Management: Input engineering changes into the central database, facilitate coordinated efforts of Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality organizations, and ensure timely incorporation and proper documentation of engineering changes.
  • Configuration Change Board: Participate in Configuration Change Board meetings and help review and analyze engineering change data and track open items to ensure completion of change implementation activities.

Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance: Must have an active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years prior to start.
  • Configuration Management Experience: Must have experience with configuration status accounting using SAP and AMS, as well as Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Education and Skills: Bachelor's degree in a related field and advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Access and Excel databases.
Desired Skills
  • Configuration Management of Hardware/Software: Experience with configuration management of hardware and software.
  • Logistics and Sustainment Engineering: Knowledge of and experience in the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering efforts of a Missile program.
  • Product Data Management: Experience with Product Data Management tools.
