Each vehicle we produce is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our diverse clientele, ranging from large corporations to independent operators.

As a Vehicle Body Fabricator, your primary responsibilities will include constructing walls, floors, roofs, and decking, as well as assembling components to create a complete box and affixing it to various vehicle systems across a wide array of vehicle types and sizes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Cut raw materials according to specified work instructions.
2. Assemble box components (Roof, Walls, Nose, Deck, Understructure, Lining, etc.) following blueprints.
3. Construct a finished box, including sealing and installing various door types.
4. Mount the completed box onto different vehicle systems.
5. Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
6. Ensure quality by inspecting components throughout the assembly process.
7. Operate manual plasma cutters, forklifts, and overhead cranes as required.
8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
9. Adhere to all personal protective equipment requirements.
10. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by providing suggestions and demonstrating initiative in relevant areas.
11. Welding experience is preferred.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position involves frequent mobility, including sitting, standing, bending, or stooping for extended periods. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and stretch to reach items of similar weight. The role may require working in non-ventilated or air-conditioned areas and at heights using ladders or mechanical lifts. A full range of body motion, including manual dexterity, is necessary. The ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with normal hearing and vision capabilities. Candidates must be able to understand vague instructions and communicate effectively in a professional manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Candidates should be able to read blueprints and work orders, as well as possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Experience with vehicle electrical and mechanical systems, along with installation techniques, is preferred. Proficiency in using various power and hand tools is necessary. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication skills. Successful completion of a General Abilities Assessment and passing a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screening are required.
