Truck Body Assembler

Summit Bodyworks is seeking a skilled Truck Body Assembler to join our team. As a Truck Body Assembler, you will be responsible for building walls, floors, roofs, and decking for various vehicle types and sizes. You will work closely with our team to ensure high-quality products are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Cut and assemble components according to work instructions
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- Ensure quality by inspecting components during construction
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with good standing MVR
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Experience with vehicle electrical systems, mechanical systems, and installation techniques
Our team works in a fast-paced environment with frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods. You will be required to lift up to 75 pounds frequently and work in areas that are not ventilated or air-conditioned.
