Job Title: Calibration Specialist (Aviation)

At StandardAero, we're committed to excellence in the aerospace industry. As a Calibration Specialist (Aviation), you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our inspection, measuring, and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, document, and implement methods for the verification and calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
  • Ensure continued compliance to standards of all inspection, measuring, and test equipment by performing registration, identification, inspection, and calibration of all tools and instrumentation used by the company.
  • Recognize and understand flight/product safety critical parts and processes, and be responsible for immediately reporting flight/product safety concerns.
  • Participate in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes, and recognize and understand the Just Culture policy.
Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of precision inspection, measuring, and test instruments and systems.
  • Precision Measurement Equipment (PME), Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) experience.
  • Ability to use the full complement of applicable company instructions, company processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of calibration and certification principles, root cause analysis principles, and application of calibration technical data principles in the field of Metrology.
