Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armorer to join our team at Constellis. As an Armorer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure operation of our armory, maintaining and testing protective force weapons, and adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Account for all weapons and equipment in accordance with DOE, NNSA, LANL, and N2MIS policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and repair protective force weapons, ensuring compliance with law, regulations, and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Manage and maintain armory operations, including inventory control and recordkeeping.
  • Ensure all personnel are properly trained and certified in the use and maintenance of protective force weapons.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of armory operations with overall security protocols.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in a DOE security operation or comparable military, security, or law enforcement operation.
  • Two years of experience in a logistical position supporting a military, security, or law enforcement operation.
  • Current DOE Q-level security clearance and HRP certification.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF software.
