Job Description

The Sports Pod. Co is seeking a highly skilled Sports Doctor to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing evidence-based care. As a Sports Doctor, you will be responsible for conducting patient consultations, evaluating neuromusculoskeletal systems, and performing manual adjustments to correct musculoskeletal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient consultations, reviewing health and medical histories, and examining patients to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine-related conditions.
  • Evaluate patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine conditions.
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations of the body to correct musculoskeletal issues.
  • Obtain and record patients' medical histories, arrange for diagnostic x-rays/MRI's, and analyze digital imaging to locate sources of patients' difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate case histories of patients and educate them on movement and sports rehabilitation.
  • Provide patients with educational resources and a recommended course of treatment, including acupuncture and soft tissue management techniques.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate of Chiropractic or Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
  • At least two years of experience in sports rehabilitation.
  • Dry needling certification (strongly preferred).
  • Current license as a chiropractor or physical therapist in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification and malpractice insurance.
  • Background in strength and conditioning and soft tissue management techniques (strongly preferred).
