Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

The Quality Assurance Automation Specialist will be responsible for developing an automated testing framework that supports a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) model, alongside executing functional testing, validating new products, and integrating systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an automated testing framework to support a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development model, while also conducting functional testing, validating new products, and integrating systems.
  • Oversee the planning and dissemination of updates to technology and policy as it relates to the ICON RA, as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Preferred BA/BS degree.
  • Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD processes, DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies, and tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Go, GitLab, Software Factory, GitOps, Test Automation, SCAP, STIG, SAST, and DAST.
  • Required DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification.
  • Security+ certification is preferred.
  • Top Secret clearance is mandatory, with the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Competence in managing a complex workload, effectively coordinating multiple resources, and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.
  • Capacity to navigate controversial situations with diplomacy and tact.
