Job Overview

Premier Pump & Power is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Assembly Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes remain efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly objectives to employees
  • Assign work orders to the shop floor according to the production schedule
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Oversee and coach employees, including addressing performance issues
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
  • Monitor production output to meet specifications
  • Submit daily reports on performance and progress
  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest continuous enhancements
  • Train new employees on safe machinery operation and procedures
  • Update daily reports as necessary for materials, production, and inventory
  • Ensure timely receipt and shipment of materials
  • Maintain a culture of urgency and excellence in quality
Requirements
  • 7+ years of shop floor/manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • 2+ years of experience working with diesel engines
  • 2+ years of experience working with pump systems
