Are you passionate about advancing wearable technology? The Apple Watch Hardware Product Group is on the lookout for a dedicated electrical engineer to join the Apple Watch HW Engineering Team.

This role focuses on design engineering, collaborating with various teams to innovate and enhance technology in mobile device products.


Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to grasp system requirements and evaluate trade-offs, crafting inventive solutions to intricate technical challenges.

Your daily tasks will include schematic capture, PCB layout design, prototype development and troubleshooting, functional verification, signal characterization, hardware issue tracking, and liaising with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must possess experience in one or more of the following domains: system integration, processor selection, various communication protocols (notably USB, SPI, I2C, and UART), analog integration, audio design and measurement, power electronics design, sensor design and integration, and low power design.

Hands-on experience in prototype development and troubleshooting, functional verification, or manufacturing support is required.
A broad background in low power, low noise designs is preferred.
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals are essential.

Technical Tools:
Experience with Cadence Concept & Allegro or similar tools is advantageous.

Education & Experience:
A BS/MS Degree in a relevant technical field is required.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

This structure allows for growth and development within the role.

The base pay range for this position is between $121,909 and $214,500 annually, and your specific pay will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees may also be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
