Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new products and product lines, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Conduct design for manufacture assessments to ensure products are optimized for production and meet cost objectives.
- Develop and maintain engineering design standards and drawing standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source components and materials.
- Administer design history and practice proper engineering document control processes to ensure drawings are up to date.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of engineering experience, preferably in assembly engineering or a related field.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and assembly line processes.
- Continuous improvement and Lean practice experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and AutoDesk Design Suite, or equivalent.
