Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Gestamp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for improving the capacity of our assembly cells and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement standardized work instructions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Set up, maintain, and program robot systems and assembly fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the production and quality teams to identify and resolve process issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to improve machine performance and reduce downtime.
  • Support the program management team in evaluating new work and processes.
  • Contribute to the development of product cycle time, time study, and methods engineering analysis.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  • Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role and environment.
  • Experience working with Fanuc robots, ABB, and Yaskawa highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
  • Clear understanding of Lean principles and tools.
