Job Overview

Active Minds is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Operations Intern to support the organization's fundraising efforts. As a key member of the Development team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, data management, and operations.

The Development Operations Intern will assist in various administrative and operational tasks, including donor outreach, data entry, and content creation. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mental health advocacy and want to make a meaningful contribution to a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in donor outreach and stewardship efforts
  • Contribute to data entry and hygiene in our Salesforce database
  • Support content creation for newsletters and donor letters
  • Prepare materials for mailings and in-person events
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Team player with a willingness to learn
  • Marketing, business, and/or customer service skills
  • Experience with data management and Google Workspace
