Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct experimental work on the bench under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
  • Develop at least two new innovative product applications with enzymes annually that maintain or increase company sales.
  • Prepare and provide scientific data to incorporate into at least one promotional material or webinar annually.
  • Establish relationships with suitable food research institutes (university labs, etc.).
  • Design new blended enzyme products for food applications.
  • Support Technical Sales by fulfilling customer requests.
  • Oversee the entire development process for new AEU blended products from initial phase through final commercialization phase.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and SQF requirements through the company's quality management system.
  • Prepare and provide scientific data to incorporate into at least one promotional material or webinar annually.
  • Develop joint R&D projects with customers under guidelines and priorities developed by the President.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a food scientific discipline, and at least 5 years of industry experience OR a Master's degree in a food scientific discipline and at least 2 years of industry experience.
  • Experience with instrumental assays such as HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometer.
